Good roads, bridges, and waterways, are crucial for attracting new businesses. One area of infrastructure that is often ignored is reliable internet. It is as important as having quality roads. Study after study by economists lists infrastructure and education as the most important areas businesses investigate before moving to a state.

Our infrastructure has been ignored for too long. We recently passed a road bond to begin tackling part of our issues, but we will also need to improve internet access and broadband to be competitive in the electronic age. I will stay on top of these issues to make West Virginia attractive for business.
