Meet Jeff Martin

Jeff Martin has a long history of advocacy, political organization, and public service. He has served in various roles for nonprofits, unions, and private businesses. After graduating from Winfield High School in 2002, Jeff attended West Virginia State University majoring in criminal justice. During his time in college, he began working in politics at the urging of his grandfather, a union electrician and politico. After graduating WVSU in 2006, he continued work in the political world as a campaign consultant, policy adviser, and advocate.

In 2010, Jeff decided to leave the political world and state to serve in the United States Army. He enlisted and was stationed in an airborne infantry unit in JBER, Alaska. Jeff did one tour in Afghanistan from 2011-2012. Because of a knee and hip injury, he was medically discharged in 2014. Jeff enrolled at WVU where he finished a dual degree program. He graduated in 2017 with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Juris Doctorate (JD).
